Iran Ready to Send ‘Peace Forces’ to Syria to Help Enforce De-Escalation Zones

Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qassemi said on Monday that Tehran was ready to send “peace forces” to Syria as part of a plan to enforce the four de-escalation zones created by Iran, Turkey and Russia. “In this regard, we are ready to send peace forces to strengthen the ceasefire in the region after the roadmap is determined and necessary agreement is reached,” he said in a weekly press conference in Tehran.

Here’s what’s 100 percent certain: If Iran sends troops to maintain the de-escalation zones, Israel will lose its mind.
